dear xanga,
i hate you.
love, kasi.
just kidding.

things have been good. started at cheeseburger in paradise. it's a fun job, but the hours are crazy.

been spending pretty much all of my off time with steven. i've hung out with lauren a few times in the past week.

stacie's been in the hospital, i hope she's doing okay now that she's home. i love you stacie!

school is beat as ever. i can't wait for the year to be over, even though sadly, i don't think i'm graduating this year... go ahead, yell at me, it's my own fault i deserve it anyway.

Happy New Year's.

All in all, 2005 was a pretty okay year, however, like every year; it had it's ups and it's downs.

The year consisted of memorable trips to Philly with some of the best people in the world. The beginning of friendships, the end of friendships, and the still awkwardness of being in between and not knowing where you all really stand with the other person. There were friendships on the edge due to jealousy. Meaningless jobs in a fast food restaurant, where amazing friendships were found.

There was the passing of an old friend, which I still don’t’ think she did that to herself.

There was an amazing memorable weekend in Long Island, where we had the time of our lives, hanging out and making cupcakes for the best band ever.

There were breakups and second chances (third, actually). Jealous ex-girlfriends and just plain out jealous assholes.

There were unsuccessful drunken nights of trying to forget the pain.

There was a pregnancy scare that turned out to not be true, however the missed period was due to something which turned into a 3 day hospital stay and a missed prom.

There was an unexpected piercing, which you were forced to take out within 3 days but plan to get again sometime in 2006.

There was the ending of a pretty great school year followed by an even more wonderful summer. A summer which consisted of teeth getting removed, car accidents, late nights spent driving around aimlessly, hanging out in the streets of Kenwood, birthdays at the fair and panicking to get John home before his parents. Four-wheeling on property that we didn’t know was private property, almost getting arrested.

There were lies to cause a breakup and things being set straight.

There was the beginning of the last year of school and old friendships renewed.

Sleepovers at Steven’s where he was suppose to sleep in a different room, but the two of us ended up sleeping in the same bed.

There were anniversaries of death and anniversaries of being together.

Holidays and family get togethers that some would have much rather avoided.

Hobbies found and good times had.

A year lived well, with no regrets.
Looking back, I wouldn't have traded it for anything.
